Okay Anne, why would I hire a consultant instead of a coach?
I started my business as a coach, and I shifted into consulting once I gained more clarity on the ultimate vision for my career. As a coach, I learned invaluable lessons in helping others and what I want out of life.
As a coach, I held clients accountable and motivated them. I helped clients figure out why they weren’t getting their ass in gear and move forward. I taught self-improvement tools, and I gave tough love when needed. These are qualities you can find in many coaches.
But I wanted to do more.
As a consultant, I get to hold space for your abundance of creative ideas. I help you align your vision with your core values so everything you do in your business is authentic as fuck.
I help you prioritize your creative tasks for greatest impact and stay focused on your vision. I help you pinpoint your message to speak directly to your audience.
Maybe there is an overlap between coaching and consulting. For me, the shift is a matter of aligning with my vision to keep my autonomy and authenticity.
I can teach you how to do this too.
One of my teaching methods is scaffolding.
Carried over from my days in the classroom, scaffolding is a teaching method that enables a student to solve a problem, carry out a task, or achieve a goal through a gradual shedding of outside assistance.
I’ve done this as a coach. I do it better as a consultant because we have a clear-cut goal for you, my client: building your authentic as fuck business.
Alright Anne, that sounds cool and all, but what will I get out of working with you?
Every one of my clients have held a unique vision for growth and their business, and you can expect a relationship centered on your needs.
My previous clients have experienced receiving unexpected money and income through multiple avenues. They’ve gained clarity on their true passion and purpose.
I’ve had clients receive job promotions in alignment with the direction of their business vision.
Some of my past clients have left abusive relationships and others save their marriage from the brink of divorce.
My clients have healed codependency, lost weight, developed and deepen their intuition, rebuild trust and confidence with themselves.
All of these results were not prescribed promises from some vague “proven method.” They are the direct outcome of the client’s goals, needs, and growth.
